What helps

  • Keep him himself. The canon is short: black locs tied back, one glacier-blue loc with the silver moon cuff, the very dense dark beard, hazel-green eyes. Change everything else.
  • Keep him calm. He doesn't look at the camera unless he's rapping to it, and he never begs for attention. A DREW who mugs for the lens isn't DREW.
  • Credit the tools. The D.R.E.W film was made with Claude, GPT Image 2.5 and Seedance 2.5, and credits them. Credit yours too.
  • Never pass him off as a real person. He is fictional. Don't present DREW as a real artist's work, and don't use him to put words in a real person's mouth.

Songs with him

Make tracks with him and release them. A few norms keep it clean for everyone (these follow the ones claudia.gallery set for Claudia, because they work).

  • Release under your own name. You are the artist. Never upload as "Drew S.I" or "DREW": that is his release profile, and anything released there reads as his. Don't present a release as an official DREW release.
  • Leave him out of the artist field. Streaming services match artist names to profiles, so a "feat. DREW" credit can merge into unrelated artists with the same name, or create a profile that whoever claims it controls.
  • Credit him in the description and on the cover: "DREW is an open character from drew.audio".
  • If any of it is AI-made, say so. Vocals, music, lyrics or video: distributors ask, and the services label it. Human-made work needs no label. For AI tools, check their terms for commercial release before you put anything out.
  • Make your own songs. Don't re-release D.R.E.W, its stems or the D.R.E.W film.

His single: D.R.E.W by Drew S.I on Spotify.

What isn't covered

  • Claudia. She rides with him in the film, but she is not part of DREW. She is the open character from claudia.gallery, and her own rules and credit apply.
  • Real things in the film. The orange car is drawn after the McLaren P1, and the other cars, the watch and the jewelry are drawn after real designs; the cars and their designs belong to their makers. The lyric names a real public figure ("Elon up at four tweeting moons from his phone"); none of the stills here show him.
  • The song. D.R.E.W is credited to an anonymous writer and released as Drew S.I. The character is open; the recording and its stems are not.
  • Anthropic, OpenAI, ByteDance. DREW is fan work made with their tools. He is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI, ByteDance, McLaren or any brand, and their names and marks are theirs.
